The late season slump by the Hershey Bars sadly continued into the playoffs. An opportunistic Charleston Cannons team cashed in on a flurry of miscues by the hosts and coasted their way into the EFL championship game with a 33‑11 win.

After their 9-game winning streak that began in week 2 put Hershey in position to snag the #1 playoff seed, they lost four of their last five, including yesterday’s game. Their title aspirations will have to wait until 2012. Meanwhile, the Cannons will face the Cherries at Delaware Sunday morning in the title tilt.
